Touched by an Angel (for real)

May 5, 2020June 3, 2013 by rvacrossamerica

This video was recorded well over a year ago, but it is as relevant today as it was the day the event happened. Yes, for real, I had an encounter with angels just as my time of need was greatest. Listen to my story, and realize I was in my first month of travel – …

Health insurance can make or break your "on the road" experience. Certain things must be in place BEFORE you need any kind of medical treatment. You must have access to care throughout the entire nation. You must NOT need to be in a network (ideally) or need a referral from your primary care doctor - if you even have one!

And perhaps MOST importantly - you need to live a lifestyle whereby medical interventions are unlikely to occur and if they do, they're few and far between!

As mentioned in the video, more detail is here: https://rvacrossamerica.net/healthcaretips

Reflecting back to my first journey with my ski bud Isaac - a visit to the Parowan Gap on a very springlike day in early February! Lots of photos of petroglyphs and an unexplainable Indian head that appears to be of natural origin.

I was in the Flaming Gorge as I reflect upon the Parowan Gap. Late spring in the Flaming Gorge can see some strong convective storms - just like I experienced last night (Jun 10, 2025.) High winds with gusts approaching hurricane force for nearly an hour!

My video shares my thoughts, some updates on RV life and RV travel, and a sense of where I am at this moment in time. Enjoy!

DRV has suspended production. After nearly a quarter century in business and over 10 years owned by Thor, DRV has put a halt to their production. Is this the end? I imagine time will tell.

Grand Design and Winnebago are facing a class action lawsuit for alleged frame failure. I've thought about this suit and its implications for the RV industry overall.

A few questions that I raise in my video...

Will this lawsuit leave a lasting stain on the industry?
Will it negatively impact potential future buyers?
Will the lawsuit spread to more manufacturers?
Have YOU experienced FRAME FAILURE - or any other massive RV problem that threatens the viability of your camper?

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave your thoughts and responses to these questions in the comments section below...

Grand Design Class Action Lawsuit - Potential Implications for the RV Industry

Bryce Canyon National Park is a place where you could spend literally years hiking and exploring the terrain. Did you know however, there's an 18 mile scenic drive with about a dozen "pullouts" that provide overlooks to the surrounding terrain that are ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR.

Some of these views are captured in the Panorama video posted at rvacrossamerica.net/bryce. This video highlights the 18 mile scenic drive itself (along with some cool music!)

When Isaac and I entered the park on our 2nd morning, we decided to drive straight to the end of the 18 mile road and then work our way back. This video captures the return drive. The Panorama video (again on my website) highlights some of the views we were treated to at various overlooks.

We (of course) took part in SEVERAL hikes and photos of those are highlighted in my post as well - again at https://rvacrossamerica.net/bryce

You'll note for RV'ers at the start of this video, in the turnaround at Bryce Point (I incorrectly referred to it as Rainbow Point in the video), space may be tight for larger vehicles to make this loop - especially in busier times of year. We visited in February when the park was relatively deserted!

I truly welcome your thoughts, comments, and if you'd be kind enough, a thumbs up and a share!
