as far as safety rv my experiance do what you can to lock every thing up and includ you tralier i tow as with ford truck
as my truck was tampered with on an open tralier,
broke wind screen wipers
cut brake lines
i STRONGLY SUGGEST FROM THIS EXPERIANCE HAVE FULLY ENCLOSED TRALIER LOCKABLE,
ALSO THE DOOR TO RV CAMPER USED HI TENSILE CHAIN ATTACHED TO THE DOOR OF RV AND BV DOOR FRAME.
IF THAY BREAK THE LOCKS THAY HAVE HIGH TENSILE CHAIN TO DEAL WITH,
AND INCLUDE FUEL TANKS Have lock on then as well.
water tanks lock on them as well
including your spare tyre lock on them as well
